In-band authentication, and authentication for the device HTTP transport; request idempotency tokens; multi-device transactions; descriptor signing; a hosted registry beyond the bundled index; sandboxed script execution; streaming bulk data (results are stored as files next to the run, §3.5); a machine-readable description of hardware watchdogs and device-side safe states. Each has a natural home in the protocol (a data/ primitive, params.auth, a transaction/ namespace) and will be specified with partner input.
